PVP is fuming that Vamshi roped in Aswini Dutt and Dil Raju to produce his flick with superstar Mahesh Babu

When director Vamshi Paidipally took to Twitter recently to confirm that his next with Mahesh Babu would be produced by Aswini Dutt and Dil Raju, it raised a lot of eyebrows. In fact, it is the same project that PVP Cinema dropped hints about on Mahesh’s birthday in August earlier this year. They’ve even released an innovative poster, which indicated that film would be shot in the US.

However, in a sudden turn of events, the project has exchanged hands and producer PVP is visibly upset with it. He has approached the Producer’s Council, saying that Vamshi has breached their contract and is now making the film with other producers. We further hear that he is contemplating to press charges in the court against the ‘Yevadu’ director.

A source close to the development says, “Despite ‘Oopiri’ not going on to mint big money, PVP had maintained a cordial relation with Vamshi as he was aware of the hard work put by the director during the filming, though he failed to finish the movie in an amount he promised to.

However, PVP was hurt by Vamshi showing inclination to Dutt and Raju, leaving him no option but to knock the doors of Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. The Producer’s Council is looking into the matter.” Despite repeated attempts, Vamshi remained unavailable for a comment.
