After ‘Khaidi No 150’ and ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ opened to great numbers and positive word of mouth, it’s now the turn of Sharwanand to prove that he has a winner in hand. His film, ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ is releasing on Saturday and he is extremely upbeat about its prospects. “You can see the fervour that is associated with Sankranti festival in ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’. It’s a typical festive movie,” he exults.

Pointing out that the family drama emphaises on small emotions like how we behave with our parents and neighbours, he says he plays a boy next door. “As the film unfolds mostly around Rajamahendravaram, I was required to work on Andhra diction. My character is someone who respects elders and believes in spreading happiness. I also have a nice love track with Anupama Parameswaran. I only hope I will get more name among the family audience with the film.”

Jayasudha and Prakash Raj have played his grandparents in the film, directed by Satish Vegesna. Talking about the experience of working with them, he adds, “It was fun and we became like a family by the end of the shoot.” Talking about the status of his film with producer BVSN Prasad, where he plays a cop, Sharwaa says, “Except for four songs and some talkie portions, the film is over.”
