In a sudden turn of events, ‘Premam’ girl Anupama Parameswaran has been ousted from Sukumar’s next with Ram Charan. It was very recently that the diminutive actress tweeted about her participation in the flick, a romantic drama. “Happy bhogi to all.. Happy to announce My next telugu film with director sukumar sir, ram charan, ratnavelu sir & mythri movies (sic),” the actress had tweeted on January 13.
While the production house Mythri Movie Makers remained unavailable for a comment on the development, sources say the film’s team felt that Anupama was too young for the part, leaving them no option but to look out for other actresses. “Samantha is one of the front runners to bag the film now,” sources said.
Naturally, Anupama, who is basking in the success of ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi,’ seemed upset but put a brave face. “As I look back on my life, I realize every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed,” read a post on her Twitter timeline, clearly indicating that she has taken the whole episode positively. The yet-untitled film, which will see Ram Charan in a complete new avatar, will roll shortly.
