Although he planned to release it on February 5, actor-Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan’s protest musical album, ‘Desh Bachao,’ is finally out. While the album comprises of six songs, four of them were uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday.

For fans who expected it to offer new songs that would inspire and motivate youth in fighting for Special Category Status to AP, what the songs have actually offered is a rehash of Pawan's hit numbers like “I’m just a travelling soldier,” “Yeh Mera Jahan,” “Narazzu Gakura Maa Annaya” and “Le Le Le”.

In “Narazzu Gakura,” a remix of the song from 'Johnny', there were references to the suicide of Rohith Vemula and the arrest of Kanhaiya Kumar of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

The songs have been remixed by 19-year-old DJ Prithvi Sai. According to Pawan, Sai is the youngest DJ in Asia, who took up DJing as a profession when he was all of 10. While the jury is yet to be out on the rehash numbers, Pawan’s fans have ensured that they go viral on social media.
