Rama Raju’s tryst with romantic continues

Undeterred by the failure of his last film, ‘Oka Manasu,’ director Rama Raju has moved on and is silently working on his next, ‘Priyuralu’. The film, it is understood, is a contemporary love story and will see new faces in the lead.

A source confirms, “It’s a new-age love story interspersed with humour but will not deal with live-in relationship. Despite the title, the male character has equal importance as that of the female. It would be shot predominantly in Hyderabad with some parts being filmed in Godavari belt.”

The source adds the filming is likely to commence this summer by which time producer Madhura Sreedhar would be through with ‘Fashion Designer-s /o Ladies Tailor’. “Rama Raju has completed penning ‘Priyuralu’ script but is presently working on the screenplay. Once every shot is on paper, he’d begin auditioning for the lead characters. He is planning to wrap up the film under 40 days.”
