Pawan hits back at Varma

Points out he doesn’t have time to speak about a guy who collects pornographic material. Varma responds, saying Pawan misunderstood his observations

Often targeted by filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma on Twitter, actor- Jan Sena president Pawan Kalyan has finally lashed out at the former and said he doesn’t have time to invest on the director. “He might speak about me in different tones but I don’t have time to answer him,” Pawan said in Hyderabad on Friday.

Varma, in a series of tweets, on Thursday praising Pawan’s initiative of supporting the protest that was planned by youth of AP over denial of Special Category Status to the state in Visakhapatnam, also said that it would have been good had he was present at the protest site.

“A true warrior instead of with a phone from a safe distance will be with a sword in the middle of the field (sic),” Varma had posted. “Very disappointed that he stayed away after inspiring and exciting ..if he came it would have been a hit instead of failing so badly,” read his another tweet.

When asked about Varma’s tweets, Pawan angrily replied, “He is over 50 years. His daughter got married recently And he (recently) said he collects pornographic material, so what I should speak about such a person.” Varma immediately shot back at Pawan, saying that he always spoke as a fan and never made any personal comments against the actor.

“I spoke as a fan who has expectations on him but never did I utter a word on his three marriages,” Varma sarcastically said. “As far as my life style goes I discussed everything in my book ‘Naa Ishtam’. I am surprised that he saw my observations in a critical manner. On the contrary I’ve put my thoughts in an honest manner.”
