Srikanth follows JB into Mollywood

Actor Srikanth will be sharing screen with Malayalam Megastar Mohanlal in his upcoming film under the direction of B Unnikrishnan, making him the second popular Telugu actor of late (after Jagapathi Babu) to try his luck in the Malayalam industry.

The director, we hear, is planning to shoot the film in multiple languages and knocked the doors of Srikanth for a key role. The actor jumped at the offer as it was offering him something new to explore, we are told.

“Yes, Srikanth, along with Tamil actor Vishal have been roped in. While the latter would be locking horns with Mohanlal, the former’s role is closely guarded,” says a source. Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh will bankroll the film, which will go on floors in summer. Manoj Paramahamsa is the film’s lensman.
