Regina to play a dance assistant in Nakshatram

Regina Cassandra continues to pick up interesting roles. The ‘Jyo Achyutananda’ actress, who has been choosing in substantial roles rather than just being arm candy, is set to surprise the audience in yet another appealing role.

Regina will be next seen as a dance assistant in Krishna Vamsi’s forthcoming film ‘Nakshatram’. One of the reasons the pretty lass picked up the role was because it is a role, a first-of-its-kind for her, and gives her an opportunity to showcase her acting chops.

Regina seems to be evincing interest in doing author backed roles, and thriving on playing characters that are meatier. She’ll be playing the heroine’s friend, a role that is a mix of junior artiste and dance assistant. It’s yet another role that has great scope to excel,” informs a source close to the actress.

Interestingly, T-Town never saw Regina’s dance moves. But playing a dancer, will she be seen grooving a lot in the Sundeep Kishan and Pragya Jaiswal-starrer? Let’s wait and watch.
