Pawan learning Rayalaseema accent

Pawan Kalyan is set to do something he has never done before in a Telugu film. Wait! Don’t let your imagination run too wild folks; the actor is going to speak in Rayalaseema slang. Known to get into the core of all his roles, Pawan has started polishing his Rayalaseema dialect for his under-shoot film ‘Katamaraydu’.

Apparently, the rustic drama, a remake of Tamil film ‘Veeram’, features Pawan in the role of a village head. Since the film is set against Rayalaseema backdrop, there are a few sequences that feature the actor dabbling with the regional dialect. We heard the actor has been getting his diction and pronunciation right for his part.

“Pawan believed in adding value and life to the character and has been brushing up his lines since the script is set in Rayalaseema vicinity. He has put in efforts to ensure conviction while playing the part,” informs a source from the unit.

The clad-in-dhothi stills of the actor that have been released recently are already a hit amongst his fans. Shruti Haasan plays Pawan’s love interest in the film directed by Dolly.
