Mahesh Babu, Ajith heading for box office clash

Superstar Mahesh Babu is one of the top actors in the Telugu film industry. Similarly, Ajith holds a reigning position in the Tamil industry.

Interestingly, the two actors are set to lock horns at the box office as both their forthcoming movies are heading for a clash.

Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie under the direction of AR Murugadoss is also having a Tamil release and the scheduled date is finalized to be June 23.

However, with Ajith's latest movie Vivegam now also heading for release on the same date, the clash is inevitable. While Ajith holds a strong fanbase in Tamil Nadu, it will be interesting to see as to how Mahesh Babu holds his own at the box office particularly when the actor is keen to create a market in Tamil Nadu.
