The tweet rubbed the fans of another actor Mohan Babu (who made films like 'Pedaraydyu' and 'Raayudu') on the wrong side. They assumed Nithiin has ridiculed their favorite actor. This prompted Nithiin to quickly delete the tweet and come up with an apology.
“I did not want 2 hurt any 1 in the industry or out..I m extremely sorry if I hurt the feelings of fans n followers of other great artists,” (sic), posted Nithiin.
