Suma makes singing debut

Now, this is a surprise. Small screen superstar Suma, who commands massive respect from filmgoers too, has made her singing debut with Sai Dharam Tej-starrer ‘Winner’. The star anchor has sung “Suya Suya” number from the actioner, which releases on February 24. It was filmed on another popular anchor Anasuya and was unveiled by Southern sensation Anirudh on Tuesday evening.

“It is an item number and after considering many names, musician Thaman felt why not try it with Suma? Although, she was reluctant to do the playback initially, the composer somehow convinced her. She is eager to see how the listeners would react to it,” a source pointed out.
