Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon is all kicked about her upcoming HBO limited series ‘Big Little Lies’ along with bigwigs Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley. And for the premiere of the series, the actress brought along her lookalike her daughter Ava who might be ready to give the Southern belle a run for her money.

Witherspoon is playing the perfect wife in the series. But the actress says she wasn't content with just playing perfection. Witherspoon actually asked the screenwriter David E Kelley if they could change the story arc of her role, Madeline Martha McKenzie, 'because I didn't have anything to play but perfection, and I think those people who are perfect [are] all full of shit.'

Commenting on the female-heavy script, she said “I thought that was a unique opportunity to have so many incredible parts for women in one piece of material. We’re not looking to completely take over projects. It’s nice to have 50-50. You need both male and female energy on every project. The deep mission to understand each other is what creates great art.” Big Little Lies will air on Star World Premiere HD in India on February 23rd.
