Sarah Paulson to play Monica Lewinsky?

It’s confirmed! Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning star Sarah Paulson has been locked in for Season 4 of Ryan Murphy’s anthology true crime series ‘American Crime Story’.

As the much awaited Season 2 of American Crime Story centered on Hurricane Katrina prepares for its premiere in 2018, Season 3 of the series will showcase the story around the assassination of Gianni Versace and Season 4 will follow the Monica Lewinsky – Bill Clinton affair and bring the nuances of the scandal to light.

On confirming the news, Murphy said, “Sarah will be in it but she won't be playing Hillary [Clinton]," Murphy said. “That’s earmarked for talks with somebody else. We're casting that now. I can't say what Sarah is playing, but it starts shooting at the end of this year.”

If not Hilary, will she be playing Lewinsky herself? Or maybe, yet another important role as Former Attorney General Janet Reno much like Marcia. It would be a delight to also see her spin off another possible non-judgmental version of Linda Tripp, the lady who started it all!
