Los Angeles: Actress Amy Jo Johnson, who played the pink ranger on Power Rangers kids series from 1993 to 1995, gave a surprise to the new cast. During a Toronto promotional tour for the Dean Israelite-directed action movie, the actress dropped in on an interview with stars Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin, and Dacre Montgomery, posing as a reporter for The Daily Hive, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"Oh my God, hi!" a shocked Lin, who portrays the black ranger in the film, says as Johnson enters the room. His co-stars look on, taken aback by the 46-year-old actress' arrival. Johnson asks the young actors a round of questions about the film's release.

"It's a very diverse cast. I think, in the movie, (the makers) are definitely very specific about what issues we are going through, you know, what normal, 17-year-old kids go through. A kid can relate to any one of us in some way.But I can't do any of the acrobatics like you," Scott, the new pink ranger, tells Johnson. The group posed for pictures together.
