Actor-filmmaker Ravi Babu, who is busy with post-production of ‘Adhugo’, says he would commence his next directorial in April-end. “Swapna Dutt (film’s producer) is talking to some recognised names for the film’s face. She’d announce the cast through a presser. It is a boy meets girl story but set in an unusual space,” Ravi, speaking to Talkies, said.
On when would his long-in-the-making ‘Adhugo’ opens, he said, “Still, work related to 3D Animation is underway. I can only give you a release date in March-end. If everything shapes up to our liking, we want to arrive in June.”
Isn’t he missing acting? Lost in thought, he said, “I’ve taken a break from acting. I’m getting the same old stuff comedy villain and there’s no kick in playing the same role multiple times.”
