The theatrical trailer of SS Rajamouli's anticipated venture ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ was unveiled in Hyderabad on Thursday. The cast and crew of the magnum opus Prabhas, Rana, Subbaraju, SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni, Kamal Kannan and K Raghavendra Rao graced the event.

Although the original plan was to screen the trailer to media contingent and a section of lucky fans alone in the morning, the trailer of the Tamil version leaked on social media just hours before its official launch on Thursday prompting the makers to upload the trailers of other languages too online (Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam) on Thursday morning itself (the makers made plans to upload the trailer online later in the evening).

Rajamouli blamed the leak due to a bug in Facebook, further saying that they are figuring out why it happened. “It is irritating to see the leak because we had plans to screen the trailer in theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and later release it in the evening officially,” Rajamouli rued.

There is already a lot of curiosity among audiences about ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ as the important question why Katappa killed Baahubali will be answered in part two. Talking about it, Rajamouli noted, “The complex situations in the film will lead to the answer but I’m sure people, after getting into the theatre, will immerse themselves in the characters and the world of Mahishmati rather than anticipating why Katappa killed Baahubali.”

He also said that despite the massive success of the first film, they haven’t tampered with the story of the follow-up film. “Unlike the first part, which was low on emotions and high on grandeur, the second part will have both factors in equal proportion. Also, we’ve dramatised the action part a little bit,” he revealed and compared the climax fight between Mahendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva to Mount Everest. “Their duel will be the highpoint of the film.”

He further said that he is taking it easy as the film is nearing release in complete contrast to the gamut of emotions that he went through prior to the release of the first part. “The pressure that I went through just days before the first part opened was enormous. I didn’t experience anything of such level personally and professionally till then in my life. So much was at stake and it (the film) was unchartered territory for everyone. It was like jumping into a sea without life jacket. But with the second part, I’m more relaxed. In fact, my confidence levels too are pretty high.”

To a question as whether he would be making a mega-budgeted entertainer up next too, Rajamouli said he hasn’t thought of his next yet. “I want to make a film without VFX,” he quipped. Admitting that he toiled hard more for Amarendra Baahubali part than for Mahendra Baahubali, Prabhas, clearly happy with the way the trailer was cut, said, “I forget all the pain that I endured in the last five years after watching the trailer”.
