‘Baahubali 2’ is all set to release on April 28. The trailer of the film crossed 100 million views (including all languages) on YouTube and became the most watched trailer in India.

At the event, the VR technology offered a 360-degree view of the function and gave an experience of actually being at the venue for the fans worldwide.

Speaking at the function, Karan Johar, film director and producer, said "‘Baahubali’ is the proudest Indian film. After 67 years of ‘Mughal-e-Azam’, ‘Baahubali is the great movie in Indian cinema. It takes guts to make such a great movie. Rajamouli made Indian filmmakers proud.

This film has won the hearts of Indian people. The cast did a great job. I will teach the Hindi filmmakers about the Telugu actors’ dedication towards cinema. I'm eagerly waiting for the release."

Rana Daggubati, who plays a pivotal role in the film said, “This movie is like a festival for me. And the real festival starts on April 28. This film is memorable for every technician. I feel bad that we couldn't meet again on the Mahishmati set. I thank Rajamouli sir for giving me this opportunity."

Director of the magnum opus, Rajamouli said, "This movie is the effort of 1,000 plus technicians. And they showed immense dedication. My wife supported me very well in this mammoth venture. MM Kiravani gave us great music and the cast gave their best performance.”

The heartthrob of the occasion Prabhas stated that in five years he did two films and said, “From this year, I will do only two films every year.” Anushka, Tamannah, Satyaraj, MM Kiravani, Prasad Devineni, Shobu Yarlagadda, Rama Rajamouli, K Raghavendra Rao, Ramyakrishna, Nani and many more celebrities from the film industry graced the occasion.
