Manchu Manoj as Vellupillai Prabhakaran

For the first time, talented actor Manchu Manoj is donning a powerful role inspired by real-life character and its none-other-than the dreaded LTTE chief Vellupillai Prabhakaran in his upcoming ‘Okkadu Migiladu” being helmed by Ajay Andrews and produced by S N Reddy and Laxmikanth.

“The film is based on true life incidents that happened during 1990 civil war in Sri Lanka and how the devastating war turned 15 lakh people into refugees,” says producer S N Reddy and adds “Manoj will also be seen in a role of a college student and has shed 12 kgs to fit into the youngish role,” he adds. Actress Anisha Ambrose will be playing female lead, while Milind Gunaji, Posani, Suhasini, will be seen in key roles.
