Los Angeles: To preserve the legacy of his his mother Debbie Reynolds, Todd Fisher is putting up dresses from her iconic films on exhibit. The 59-year-old actor has teamed up with TCM for a private preview of hand-picked costumes from the actress' stand-out films, reported People magazine.

This development comes in after consistent failed attempts to memorialise souvenirs from the "Singin' In The Rain" actress in a museum and auctioning them. "My mother met Mary Pickford and Harold Lloyd early in the '60s, and there was talk of a museum back then. There were many attempts in the early years to actually put this together, and it never happened," says Fisher.

The memorabilia will be displayed at the TCM Classic Film Festival, which will run from April 6-9. The exhibit will also showcase some of Reynolds' never-seen-before private collection. The legend passed away from a stroke in December last year, a day after her daughter actress Carrie Fisher's death.
