It seems that Shriya Saran is determined to do more roles in T-town. The actress who was as a royal queen opposite warrior king Balakrishna in “Gautamiputra Satakarni”, is now all set to romance the scion of Nandamuri family once again.
Actually, director Puri and producer were thinking of casting popular actress Trisha as the main lead and were holding discussions, but finally roped in Shriya to repeat the hit-combination of “Satakarni…” “Its true that Trisha was also one of the contenders for the main female lead but after comparing Trisha’s performance in `Lion’ and Shriya’s work in Satakarni, the scales tilted in favour of the latter,” says a source, close to the unit.
Another new girl Muskaan has been signed and hunt for another actress is on, since Balayya will romance three heroines in his next film, adds source.
