Though Kishore made his debut with ‘Vennela’, more than a decade ago, his stock has been rising of late. Known for his impeccable comic timing, the comedian’s career did not take off as expected, after his scintillating debut as Khader in `Vennela’ It is said that comedian and mimicry artiste Shiva Reddy couldn’t adjust dates for the movie and it gave birth to a new comedian.

Of late, Kishore has reached a stature wherein writers are penning separate tracks to get maximum from him. It is said that apart from his comic timing, it is his delivery that makes even the most normal
lines sound funny. “Don’t bother, it’s Khader” from ‘Vennela’ and “Every KG you are crazy” from ‘Ami Thumi’ are a few examples.

In his recent outing, as Sri Chilipi in ‘Ami Thumi’, he carried the film on his shoulders. Kishore’s act was a laugh riot and critics unanimously praised his performance. Director Indraganti Mohana Krishna says, “I was very impressed with the way he carried his role in my previous film ‘Gentleman’. However, it was very short and I wanted Kishore to do a meatier role, thus Sri Chilipi is born.”

After the stock of ace comedian Brahmanandam dipped a bit, it was Prithvi Raj’s turn to rule the roost as comedian, which he managed to do successfully from ‘Lakshyam’. With Kishore’s Sri Chilipi leaving audience in splits, it is safe to say that it is Kishore’s time to rule.
