Hebbah Patel demands 75 lakh?

New-age actress Hebbah Patel who has delivered hits like `Kumari 21 F’, `Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam’ and `Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada’ has reportedly demanded a whopping remuneration of Rs 75 lakh to play love interest to Bellamkonda Srinivas in his upcoming untitled film with director Sriwass.

Undettered, producer Bellamkonda Suresh is willing to rope her in by doling out the hefty sum. Earlier, to promote his son, Bellamkonda has splurged big money on actresses like Samantha in `Alludu Srinu’ and Tammanah for a special song in the same film. “Bellamkonda doesn’t mind paying big sums since he wants the best of actresses for his son,” says a source.

Actually, it was Bellamkonda who reportedly paid Rs 1 crore to Ileana to play the female lead in `Bhale Dongalu’ many years ago and didnt’ mind paying big to rope in big stars for his subsequent films. “His son is rising and needs to top actresses to give the film the much-needed hype.” adds the source. Meanwhile, director Sriwass is fine tuning the script and scouting for exquisite locales. 

He has roped in talented technicians like action choreographer Peter Hein and star music composer Devi Sri Prasad to deliver a big-budget extravaganza. However, Hebbah who is young and a pretty-looking girl will join the likes of popular actresses like Kaajal, Tammanah and Shruti Hassan by pocketing a sum of Rs 75 lakh. From this film onwards, her jacked up remuneration will make her unaffordable to small-time filmmakers. Let’s see whether her gamble pays off or not?
