Jagapathi Babu has a point to prove

Popular actor Jagapathi Babu who is returning as a hero with action-centric film `Patel SIR’ will be able to pull in crowds on the strength of his name. Even though, the trailer and first look has received lot of appreciation, still Jagapathi needs to prove a point at the box-office very soon.

Actually, the family hero of hit films like ‘Subhalagnam’ and `Sardukupodam Randi’ turned a baddy with Balakrishna’s `Legend’ and followed it up with big-ticket films like ‘Lingaa’ and ‘Nanakku Prematho’ and established himself as a popular baddy.

But now he is changing tracks and returning as a hero, albeit, in a middle-aged angry man’s role, befitting his age. It remains to be seen, whether the hero-turned-baddy-turned-hero, can draw in sensational openings.
