Pragya in a new avatar

After leading actresses like Vijayshanti and Roja, now it’s turn of a new-age actress Pragya Jaiswal to don khakis for her upcoming film `Nakshatram’. Even though, Sundeep and Sai Dharam Tej are playing cops, but Pragya’s fiery role will be a value addition and she has done a fabulous job, says a source.

The girl from Madhya Pradesh was seen in films like ‘Kanche’ and ‘Gunturodu’ and now the lover-girl has gone for a complete makeover to fit into a cop’s role. ‘She matched strides with her male counterparts Sundeep and Sai who are playing author-backed roles, but managed to hold on with her impressive performance,’ adds source. It remains to be seen, how, audience will receive a soft-looking actress in a tough cop role.
