Prabhas, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan movies dominating overseas market

Looks like Tollywood films are completely dominating Bollywood movies in North America Market. This year Telugu movies have collected more revenue than Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan movies in the USA.

Prabhas’ Baahubali was all time super hit film with $20 million gross, while Shah Rukh Khan’s “Raees” collected mere $3.63 million. In top ten list, Shah Rukh Khan occupies the second position and rest of list is completely occupied by Telugu films. Varun Tej’s latest film Fidaa is collecting bigger amount at USA box office compared to Salman Khan or Akshay Kumar’s films.

Prabhas’s Baahubali 2, Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No.150, Varun Tej’s Fidaa, Balakrishna’s Gauthamiputra Satakarni and Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu are the top grosser of Telugu movies.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, other Bollywood films such as like Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Jolly LLB, Tubelight and Kaabil have been shortlisted in top ten lists of highest grossing films.

Varun Tej’s Fidaa is inching towards to collect $2 million mark and Telugu upcoming movies of Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, Nithiin’s LIE may change the equations. So, it would be a total dominance of Tollywood.
