In the past, several film personalities from North film industry have been appointed for the same post. Now, this is the first time a member of the Telugu film fraternity has been appointed for the job. This is a breakthrough and everyone is so excited about this.
Previously, the senior director has also served as a jury member for National Awards, alongside being on the panel for several International film award ceremonies too. More or less, with the help of his jury, he is going to select the official entry from India to Oscars very soon.
