But, they initially planned to release the movie for Sankranthi which might not be possible now because of two other big projects releasing at the same time. On the other side, the producers are making multiple confirmations that the film is coming for Pongal.
Recently, the sources from the film unit informed us that the film might not come for Pongal if Pawan Kalyan movie is releasing around the same time. In that case, Rangasthalam will hit the theatres on30th of March, 2018.
