Vijay Devarakonda demands `3 cr pay?

With just one big hit ‘Pellichoopulu’, followed by another sensational top grosser ‘Arjun Reddy,’ Gen X star Vijay Devarakonda has reportedly jacked up his pay cheque from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 3 crore and producers like Allu Arvind and U V Creations doesn’t mind paying him such a fancy remuneration.

“He is truly the flavour of the season and his fan following has almost doubled with ‘Arjun Reddy’. No doubt, he is flooded with offers and in great demand,” says a source, in the know of things. “Keeping in mind, his raising popularity, the actor is demanding Rs 3 crore per film,’ the source adds.

In fact, even his performance as a rebellious youngster fetched him critical acclaim. “A talented actor with mass appeal, is a rare combination. No doubt, Vijay is bound to scale greater heights in the days to come,’ the source concludes.

Actually, with two smashing hits, the Telangana-born star is running neck-and-neck to reigning stars like Nani and Sharwanand in attracting big banners who want to cash in on his brand value. If he picks good scripts, he will become unstoppable, sooner than later.
