Ileana set to do a Telugu-Hindi bilingual
B-town actress Ileana who ruled the roost in T-town with blockbusters like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Julayi’, is looking to return to Telugu cinema with a big budget Hindi-Telugu bilingual to be produced by a big production house. Already, the glam diva has worked with leading Telugu stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Ravi Teja but moved to Bollywood with ‘Barfi’ to expand her pan India
B-town actress Ileana who ruled the roost in T-town with blockbusters like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Julayi’, is looking to return to Telugu cinema with a big budget Hindi-Telugu bilingual to be produced by a big production house. Already, the glam diva has worked with leading Telugu stars like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Ravi Teja but moved to Bollywood with ‘Barfi’ to expand her pan India appeal.
Actually, she was supposed to share screen space with reigning star Pawan Kalyan in PSK 25 but things didn’t fall in place, due to her commitments in B-town. She is also in consideration for Mahesh Babu’s next, even though, makers claim that she hasn’t been signed yet.
“It is true that discussions are going on for two films including a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, but nothing is finalised yet,’ says Giridhar, her representative in South. Actually, Ileana retained her brand value by doing films ‘selectively’ in Tollywood and no prizes for guessing, if reigning stars are showing interest to work with her once again.
