A gift to my family

Superstar Jr NTR claims that it took some time for him to come out of Jai’s character. “Franky, it took lot of time since it was a character but I managed to come out of it, thanks to my Bigboss show,’ says the actor who is returning with ‘Jai Lava Kusa” and essaying a triple role.

“Firstly I liked the story. And also director obby narrated it in an exciting way and floored me. Above all, the character transition is logical and convincing too,’ he adds.

When asked which role was more challenging among the three, he says “Of course, I had to work hard for Jai’s role, as I personally liked it,” However, he ruled out undergoing any special training to stammer for the same role. “I did it on my own with a lot of observation since an actor should be prepared for such challenges in his career,” he pointed out.

He claims that his next is an ode to brotherhood; incidentally, his brother Kalyan Ram is producing it. How does it feel? “This film is very dear to my brother and me. We always wanted to do a movie together but it did not happen. Luckily, we got a perfect story now.

This is an ideal gift to our parents.” Speaking about his co-stars Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas, he said, “They were the support pillars of the film. When I wasn’t talking much on the sets, they used to create lot of fun and charged up the atmosphere. It was a great experience working with these two beautiful actresses.”

In ‘Janatha Garage’, Kajal Aggarwal did a special song and now Tamannaah Bhatia shaking a leg with him in ‘Jai Lava Kusa’. “It was totally director’s choice. I was satisfied with his decision. And also I had worked with Tamannaah earlier, so there was a comfort zone.”

After his debut TV show, Bigboss triggering tremendous response; will he like to host another reality show? “I don’t think so. At present I’m concentrating on movies and I want to spend quality time with my family. I was busy with movies and Bigboss. Hence, I will go on a vacation to spend time with my family.”

On DSP’s music, “He always gave the best music for my movies. He is improving himself with each movie. He gave the best background score and one of the biggest supports of the film.”

Would you like to act in a multi-starrer movie? “I would like to experiment with the new concept, provided I get the right script. I will definitely work on it. Right now. I am doing a film with director Trivikram Srinivas and I can share more details soon.”

On ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ clashing with his arch rival Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ in a span of one week, he says “I don’t think audience watch movies in that fashion. They would patronise any movie with good content. I am confident about our film.”
