Despite his superstardom, Jr NTR breaks a new ground by donning the role of a youngster who suffers from stammering in his latest big release ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and setting a new benchmark for superstars to try out something different, away from their usual invincible and flawless protoganist roles. “Every individual in the world has one flaw or the other, but depicting it onscreen is a rarity.

Nevertheless, he is showing the hero as a normal human being who has a few flaws,” adds Aditya.
Earlier, reigning star Nani played an absent-minded youngster who easily gets distracted and forgets things on hand in ‘Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy’ to be branded as a irresponsible and reckless guy. ‘Although Nani faints due to low BP, director Maruti narrates the disablity in a fun-centric manner and struck a chord with audience,” adds Srikanth.
Summing up the path-breaking trend, another new-age director Sudheer Varma who depicted young actor Nikhil as a student suffering from cardiac ailment in ‘Kesava’, says “Gen x stars are game for variety and essaying down-to-earth roles. Nikhil’s handicap constraints him at some places, but still he accomplishes his mission within his limited faculties, that made the crime drama more engaging.” he concludes.
