Actress Poonam Kaur, who is the brand ambassador of handloom weavers in Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday greeted former US President Barack Obama and presented handloom clothing to him. Obama is in the national capital as part of his tour. Â
New Delhi: Actress Poonam Kaur, who is the brand ambassador of handloom weavers in Andhra Pradesh, on Saturday greeted former US President Barack Obama and presented handloom clothing to him. Obama is in the national capital as part of his tour.
Taking to her Facebook page, Poonam commented saying that she is happy to have met Obama who is one of the inspirational leaders in the world. She also said that she felt happy to offer Obama handlooms on behalf of the AP government. "The best moment of my life .... gifted handlooms to the man I admire," she remarked.
Poonam was introduced to Telugu film industry with Mayajalam in 2006 which was directed by SV Krishna Reddy. Later, she went to act in Vichitram, Sauryam, Gaganam, Ganesh, Nagavalli, Attack, Nayaki.
