Ram Charan's look has been changed and he will be seen as a differently abled person in the movie. Even though the movie is an experiment, there is a complete positive buzz in the movie now.

Meanwhile, a lot of rumours are coming up about the story of the movie. A few media houses have reported that the film is a rip off of a Hollywood film but it was proved wrong. The latest buzz is that ‘Rangasthalam’ is being touted as a silent remake of the movie ‘Ooriki Ichchina Maata’ which had megastar Chiranjeevi. This film released in 1985.

Sukumar is said to have drawn inspiration and references from Chiranjeevi's film and is said to have prepared the storyline of Rangasthalam. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers banner.
