The Tollywood film industry is currently coming out of the box office slump. The box office has not witnessed a proper hit in the last two months. We have hits only in the form of dubbing films like Khakee. There is not even a single film that has got the necessary attention at the box office. The film business is very dull and many distributors are literally experiencing a bad phase. The film like Jawan which released with a lot of hype also disappointed the distributors.
Everyone is expecting high hopes on the upcoming movies Hello and Middle Class Abbayi. Saptagiri LLB that released last week opened to positive and normal openings but the film immediately experienced drops in the collections which left the distributors go into a sad situation.
The other film Malli Raava is doing a reasonable business but in the multiplexes. The trade has been going on a dull note and everyone is highly confident that the Christmas releases will bring some benefits and revenues at the box office. Let us see if MCA and Hello can change the fate.
