Everybody has dreams but only a handful of them realise it. We are talking about a young city lad, Varkantham Kalahar Reddy who followed his heart and found success. The 24-year-old who owns the ‘Chocolate Boy’ brand has forayed into films with small concept-driven films like‘Vanavillu’ and ‘Tholiparichaiyam’ and won over the audience.

“I tasted success with refreshing movies and I would promote more path-breaking movies to raise the bar on Telugu cinema,” says Reddy, who describes film business as a childhood passion. “Films are like a paid holiday for me.

I have been a creative person and films are one way of expressing my hidden interests,” he adds. Despite hailing from a technical background, a graduate in aeronautical engineering, Kalahar Reddy began his career with event management and is now into films big time.

“You can’t separate me from films, since films are like second skin for me,” quips Reddy, who hosted events with popular artistes like YoYo Honey Singh and Akcent to make a mark. “My brand will be associated with novel films and big events to take entertainment to the next level,” he concludes.
