Akkineni Nagarjuna is a clever movie maker. When his film fails, he still considers giving another opportunity to the director by asking him to prepare a script for any of his sons.
In the same manner, he has asked Srinivas Reddy to prepare a script for Naga Chaitanya. Both Reddy and Nagarjuna have worked in the past for the movie Damarukam which failed at the box office. Srinivas Reddy was readily impressed and came forward to prepare an interesting script for Chay. The director initiated the talks with popular writer Akula Siva and readied a subject.
Due to several reasons, the project got delayed and Siva had narrated the same subject to VV Vinayak who is now doing it with Sai Dharam Tej. The makers are now planning to keep Dharam Bhai as the title for the film. The inside news reveals that the movie actually belongs to Chaitanya but because of the obvious reasons, the film is coming to reality with Sai Dharam Tej
Akula Siva and Vinayak earlier delivered the hits like "Lakshmi", "Krishna" and "Nayak".
