I am still a student of cinema: Balayya

Seasoned star Balakrishna claimed that he is still a student of cinema. “I learn new things every day on and off the sets,” says the actor, who likes to keep away from flattering. “I learnt that lesson from my father and legendary actor NTR who avoided flattery. Like him, I also want to explore all kinds of movies.

I realised that I got the stamina to reprise him on screen. Hence, I am doing his biopic,” he points out. Talking about his teaming with Tamil director K S Ravikumar he adds “We wanted to work together for last 8 years, but it happened only now. I admire his body of work,” he informs.

Talking further about his father, “He was not only an iconic actor, rather a inspiring politician too,” he adds. AP Minister and son-in-law of Balakrishna Nara Lokesh adds “Balakrishna is known for his honest portrayals. My uncle can only recreate box office records riding on his famed larger-than-life image,” he concludes.
