‘Garuda Vega’ Full Time Collection Report

After a decade of rough patch, ‘PSV Garuda Vega’ came as a breather for senior actor Rajasekhar. The film bagged positive response right from the word go and won a lot of critical applause. It Is regarded as one of the best thrillers films released in 2017. But, the collections suggest otherwise.

The closing collections of the film shows ‘Garuda Vega’ as a flop with losses in many areas. In Nizam, the film grossed up to 5.1 crores while it got only 2.44 crores as share. Same is the condition in Andhra region where the gross was 4.6 crores and only 2.52 crores as share. It brought about 70 lakhs in Vizag, 19 lakhs in Nellore, 44 and 30 lakhs in East and West Godavari respectively and 99lakhs in Krishna and Guntur collectively. In Ceeded, the film collected 64 lakhs. Overseas business too suggests the same. It grossed over 3.3 cores and was able to collect 1.32 crore. Same is the condition in Karnataka and the rest.

Finally, the film’s complete gross was 15.9 crores and share being 7.5 cores. The theatrical rights were sold for 11 crores. So, with a recovery of 68%, the film is declared a flop as per collections.
