Spyder Producer's Safe Game Begins

Tagore Madhu is a well-known producer in the film industry and he made a film called SPYder that released last year. Made with a budget of more than hundred crores, the film had Mahesh Babu in the lead. AR Muragadoss directed the film. The movie failed big time at the box office leaving the producer in heavy losses.

Now, the producer is said to be coming up with a medium-budgeted film in order to mint profits.

The buzz is that the producer has acquired the rights of Tamil film Kanithan, a thriller directed by T.S. Santosh. Young hero Nikhil Siddharth will be seen as the lead actor in the Telugu remake. The producer wanted to opt for a safe bet and hence is trying to finish the film on a limited budget. The pre-production work and the script work is currently in progress. More details about the film will be out soon. Santosh who originally directed the film is said to be doing it in Telugu too.
