Kajal to romance Bellamkonda Srinivas?

It looks like Kajal Agarwal will only be working with young actors instead of middle-aged heroes in 2018. The ‘Temper’ actor will be romancing new-age star Bellamkonda Srinivas in her upcoming film to be produced by P Nani and directed by a newcomer.

“It is true that the makers of Bellamkonda Srinivas’s film have approached Kajal to the play the female lead. Although she liked the script, she hasn’t signed on the dotted line,” says a source, close to the actor. Meanwhile, she is playing the love interest to Kalyan Ram in ‘MLA’ and is in talks for a film with Sharwanand.

Although she has completed 50-odd films, she has maintained her stature and numero uno position, despite stiff competition. “Kajal has been facing competition from the day she stepped into the Telugu film industry, but always managed to stay ahead with her professionalism and acting chops,” adds the source. Interestingly, even Bellamkonda Srinivas has been working with top-league actresses.

After romancing Samantha in ‘Alludu Srinu,’ he wooed Rakul Preet Singh in ‘Jaya Janaki….’ and now will be wooing the ‘Maghadeera’ actress in an action-based love story. Coming to Kajal, she will be reportedly pocketing Rs 1.5 crore even after being in the industry for more than a decade, truly her popularity is intact.
