After the successful Jai Simha, popular producer C.Kalyan came up with a movie in the combination of V.V.Vinayak and Sai Dharam Tej. The film titled Inttelligent carried a lot of expectations before the release but it finally failed miserably at the box office on the day 1 itself. It is obvious that the film unit had to taste huge losses. The action entertainer which is expected to do well in many areas backfired resulting in a huge loss of 15 Cr rupees.
The film's director V.V.Vinayak who has taken 10 Cr rupees as a remuneration for the film is planning to return half of the remuneration to compensate the losses of the distributors and buyers. The film is a complete washout in all the areas but the producer is safe because he already sold the satellite and digital rights of the film before the release.
The film has Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. Thaman scored the music for the film.
