Vikram on a comeback trail

After the not-so-impressive 'Inkkokadu', the 'TEN' national-award winning actor Vikram sounds confident about his upcoming release 'Sketch' and believes that this action film will strike gold at the box office.

"I have been observing the kind of movies that the Telugu audiences like to watch for quite some time. Hence, I think that 'Sketch,' has enough potential to strike a chord in the two Telugu States," said Vikram, who will be romancing beauty queen Tamannaah in this action entertainer. "Director Vijay Chandar's script is well-written and captivating too," he added.

Actually, Vikram rose to fame with Telugu viewers after blockbusters like 'Aparachitudu,' 'Sivaprutudu,' and the average grosser 'I' but gradually lost out his position to his Tamil rivals like Surya, Karthi and Vijay Antony.

"No doubt, Vikram is one of the finest actors down South and Telugu audience like him for his performances. It has been while since Vikram delivered a blockubuster in Tollywood and prove that he is still a star material and his Telugu fans are still with him," says distributor Vishnumurthy.
