The young scriptwriter Jaya Kumar filed a copyright infringement on maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Soon after this complaint, Youtube took down Ram Gopal Varma’s film God, Sex and Truth (GST). Jaya Kumar had also accused Varma of plagiarising his work and said that the project belongs to him. Jaya Kumar revealed that Youtube responded promptly to his complaint and took down the video.

On the other side, RGV is not coming down in revealing his opinions. “If freedom of speech means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear. If some of the ideas do not offend some people there’s no need for that freedom — George Orwell,” RGV tweeted.

The controversy is not over yet and there are a lot of TV debates happening over the same.
