Sridevi, a legendary actress from Indian Cinema, died in a tragical way in Dubai. She accidentally got drowned in her hotel room's bathtub and the actress body had to go through lengthy procedures in Dubai, before she could be airlifted to India.

In Dubai, an Indian businessman, who owns garage in Ajman, 40 kms from Dubai, is normally asked to take care of such situations, as he is highly familiar with the procedures.

Ashraf Thamarassery, set his shop in UAE, 20 years ago, and from 18 years, he has been working closely with Dubai officials to clear the Indian bodies who have died in the country. A total of 4750 bodies have been embalmed in his presence for shifting to various places in India.

Indian Embassy, immediately contacted him to finish off the works and help them airlift the body to Mumbai. Ashraf recounting the events said, "I am used to this process as I try to help people in need as much as I can. I am acquainted with the procedures, so I took on the job. It took more than 3 days and this is longest I had to deal with one person. As she is a celebrity, the Dubai Prosecution, had to sure that she died off natural causes and no criminal intent is involved. Once, the reports cleared, it took us 35 minutes to embalm her body and 40 people were present there. After getting her into an air-tight coffin, I left from there, as I needed to attend three more bodies, on the day."
