Nagarjuna Akkineni and Ram Gopal Varma have come forward for the fourth time for a Telugu film titled as Officer. The film is tipped to be an intense cop drama that is going to unveil a new angle in Nagarjuna.

There is a lot of interesting buzz around the movie now and we have come to know that the director Varma has copied the film from a Hollywood movie. It is a usual thing for RGV to get inspiration from different foreign movies.
The sources close to the film unit revealed that the storyline of Officer is inspired by the story of Hollywood film Taken. The film Taken reveals the story of a CIA officer who starts a mission to trace out his daughter who gets kidnapped by sex traffickers. The film is being produced by RGV under his Company. The movie is scheduled for a grand release on 25th May.
