Maruthi To Remake Kannada Hit Movie

Director Maruthi is currently busy shooting a film with Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. The film is tentatively titled as Sailaja Reddy Alludu.

There is an interesting buzz about the project right now and we have come to know that the director is eyeing on doing a Kannada remake after wrapping up his current project. The director is planning to remake Kannada comedy caper First Rank Raju, which highlights the perils of the current day education system.

The film has become a big hit in Kannada. Directed by Naresh Kumar, the Kannada film was a runaway hit at the box office and it caught the attention of many in the neighbourhood film industries. The remake rights were bought by a producer who is very close to Maruthi. An official announcement on the same is expected to be out soon.
