After a successful comeback with ‘Raja – The Great’, Ravi Teja’s recent outing ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ failed to connect with the audience because of its routine content. The film bagged negative talk from the morning show itself and this dampened the collections heavily.
After a successful comeback with ‘Raja – The Great’, Ravi Teja’s recent outing ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’ failed to connect with the audience because of its routine content. The film bagged negative talk from the morning show itself and this dampened the collections heavily.
The film was sold for 25 crores and it could get only 9.35 crores in return. This Ravi Teja starrer collected 3.1 crore in Nizam, 80 lakhs in Vizag, 35 lakhs in Nellore and 1.1 crore in Ceeded regions. 70 lakhs and 65 lakhs were the amounts from East and west respectively while it got 1.3 crores from Krishna and Guntur areas. Totally, the film got only 8 crores share from both the states. The collections from Karnataka are 65 lakhs while the overseas and rest amounted up to 60 lakhs.
The film was declared a humongous disaster as it failed to recover even half of its theatrical rights.
