Starlet's startling comments on casting couch, Pawan Kalyan

A Film By Aravind 2 heroine Sri Lekha aka Sri Reddy Mallidi made sensational comments on casting couch and on Pawan Kalyan. Recently she said in an interview that casting couch is a hard and unpleasant reality in Telugu industry. She also said the girls have to satisfy everyone starting from the director to the cameraman.

She also said that the industry is infatuated by Mumbai imports and does not bother about Telugu heroines. “Aren’t we beautiful and good looking? Aren’t we talented? Then why aren’t we being given opportunities,” she asked. She says there are dual standards in Telugu industry. On one hand, the industry says it is ready to encourage Telugu girls, but on the other, it never gives them a chance.

She then made interesting comments about Pawan Kalyan. She asked why Pawan Kalyan always chooses heroines like Samantha and Praneetha, but never a Telugu girl. “You are fighting for special status for Telugu state. But, why aren’t you encouraging Telugu girls,” she asked Pawan Kalyan. She also said she is not criticizing Pawan as she knows the consequences that Kathi Mahesh faced for criticizing Pawan.
