The latest rumor in the industry is that the movie Rangasthalam is said to be inspired by megastar Chiranjeevi's Ooriki ichina maata. Going by the first look pictures and the teaser, it is expected that Ooriki ichina maata has similarities with the new movie. The buzz is that the latest movie is presented differently.

Ooriki ichina maata released in 1981 and the film Rangasthalam is also having a 80's backdrop. Directed by Sukumar, the film is scheduled for a grand release on march 30th. Samantha is playing the leading lady role in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
